JOB TITLE: Data Analyst / Senior Data Analyst

LOCATION: Chennai

REPORTING STRUCTURE: SDL – Automation

  • US Timings – 5:00 PM to 3:00 AM.
  • Preferred who can join Immediately or max in 15 days.
  • Fully Vaccinated
  • Expected to Work in Office

Key Responsibility Areas:

  • Overall responsibility for servicing clients on Analytics/Advisory and managing the analytics team.
  • Hands-on advanced knowledge of analytical techniques, advanced knowledge of SQL or other structured languages, advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Design and develop analytics products and services.
  • Works closely with the Client(s) on scorecards, advisory, and modeling.
  • Develop models and use analytics for refined data capturing and analysis.
  • Provide leadership to the analytics team and assist the leadership to deliver results, business goals, and commitments.
  • Financial Services/ Consumer banking business (preferred) – with extensive analytics orientation.
  • Work on processes to continuously update rules/procedures to optimize results & manage day-to-day activities with the team.
  • Support various special project assignments.

TECHNICAL SKILLS: (Skillset required to do the job- Knowledge, Tools, Technical Knowledge, Certifications, etc.)

  • Proven track record with database languages (e.g., SQL) and statistical software (e.g., ‘R’, Python), and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, QlikView).
  • Well-versed with MS Excel – advanced & VBA.
  • Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests, and proper usage, etc.) and experience with applications.
  • Good to have a conceptual or working knowledge of Machine Learning & AI, cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure).

  • Experience articulating and translating business questions to analytical solutions.
  • Ability to handle and structure analysis independently.
  • Comfortable with numerical and quantitative calculations and analysis.
  • Excellent attention to detail, high output accuracy, and out-of-box thinking to bring in innovative approaches to problems/issues in data processing.
  • Excellent verbal and written English language communication skills.
