Business Development Executive

Experience:    Minimum 3-4 yrs from FMCG industry

JOB SUMMARY

A growing company is in need of an experienced and resourceful Business Development Executive to develop and implement growth opportunities in existing and new markets. We’re searching for professionals that have a solid track record of creating long-term value for organizations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Keep prospective client database updated
  • Make cold calls for new business leads
  • Support in writing new business proposals
  • Maintain knowledge of all product and service offerings of the company
  • Arrange meetings for senior management with prospective clients
  • Follow company guidelines and procedures for the acquisition of customers, submission of tenders, etc
  • Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business
  • Meet potential clients by growing & maintaining the network and identifying the decision-maker.
  • Maintain fruitful relationships with clients and address their needs effectively.
  • Research and build relationships with new clients.
  • Plan approaches and pitches.
  • Work with team members to identify and manage risk.
  • Create a robust pipeline of opportunities
  • Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements, and working through differences to a positive conclusion
  • Participate in pricing the solution/service
  • Present the company image in front of the client.
  • Foster a collaborative environment within the organization.

SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree is required. MBA would be preferable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to develop good relationships with current and potential clients
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Must have good negotiation skills
  • Must be able to create good presentations
  • Experience in project management and/or sales
  • Knowledge of productivity tools and software
  • High attention to detail and a focus on fact-based decision making
  • Ability to work under pressure
